When Doves Cry - Olympic Style

So, Happy 08/08/08! Today also happens to be the day of the Opening Ceremonies for the Beijing Olympics!! Fun times!!

You know, the Olympics symbolize peace and harmony....and so do doves. As such, doves have been used throughout the modern Olympic era as a symbol of the Games.

However, there haven't been live doves used in the Opening Ceremonies since the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Wanna know why? Watch (gotta get to the end)...
