Tribute

I love my mom, because she enjoys her life...even on days when things aren't going her way. She always has a smile on her face, and she always makes a point to share some happiness with the people she meets.

She just came back from a trip to Disney World with her sister, Marilyn, and her five-year-old niece, Gracie. Disney World is my mom's favorite place on Earth, so you can imagine that she couldn't let Gracie keep all the camera time for herself. ;)

You can tell, just from her smile, that she carries a lot of joy with her. And she definitely does.

Feel free to post a comment sharing what you love about your mother. :)

  • The above post was written by Richard. As if my mother would ever encourage me to pull on Donald's tail! All my mother ever wanted to do at Disney World is ride roller coasters, which I still to this day cannot stand! And to think…Richard and I went to Universal Studios for our honeymoon. What were we thinking!

  • I love my mom's nurturing side. She is always serving someone-- and she really loves living the life of a 'mom', ya know? It's never been about duty for her.

    your mom sounds great.

  • I love MamaHankins for her FANTASTIC stories and her sweetness... she definitely made me feel like one of the Hankins kids when I lived in Oxford. She's raised a couple of pretty awesome younguns, too. :)

    Love, Corrie
